The Most-Loved Items from our Wedding Registry

Williams Sonoma Wine Chiller and Glasses | Rachael Adele Lifestyle Blog
Now that we’ve been married for over 7 months, I wanted to share the items that we’re loving, using and incorporating into our daily grind. We’re still living in our condo, so some of our gifts (i.e. dishware, tupperware etc.) are still boxed up, waiting for their day to shine when we have a home with more storage and a place to entertain. But for the most part, we’ve used everything we received and love having great quality appliances and homeware that will last.

Zach and I previously lived on our own for 6+ years, so both of us had a good start on kitchen items. We pooled together our items and decided what we wanted to keep, what we’d like to upgrade and donate. We knew we’d be living in a small space for a while and wanted our registry to reflect our desire for practicality and minimalism. Some would argue we didn’t register for enough, but fewer, better things has always been my jam! We looked into our options and decided to register with two retailers–Williams Sonoma and Amazon.

Electric Kettle and Mugs Wedding Registry Item

Dyson Cordless Vacuum: This is the Holy Grail of vacuums and I don’t even care if I sound super lame for saying it–using it is fun. It’s so lightweight, powerful, and cordless so you can cover the entire house without having to unplug/plug a cord into an outlet in each room. The version we have came with several different attachments, which has come in handy for shelves, stairs, the couch etc.

Epica Cordless Electric Kettle: This kettle has changed our lives for the better. Zach loves the fact that you can set the temperature and keep it warm for his Chemex in the morning. I use it for my warm water and lemon in the morning, tea, and oatmeal. I loved it so much I bought one for my desk at my office, too. Bonus, it doesn’t make an obnoxious sound like a normal kettle does when the water is ready.

All-Clad Stainless-Steel Nonstick Cookware: Cooking with incredible quality nonstick cookware is a GAME CHANGER. We were both living with a mess of random, cheap pots and pans for a long time, and they served us well! But I’m so grateful to now have a beautiful set that will last us years to come.

Williams Sonoma Goldtouch Nonstick Bakeware: I’d purchased a few of these baking sheets and pans on my own over the years and knew I had to have the rest of the collection when we registered. The quality is seriously unmatched. And they’re gorgeous. Who doesn’t want to bake with gold pans?

Marble wine chiller: We don’t use this as often as some of the other items on this list, but it looks so beautiful on the table when we have guests over on the weekend for a bottle of wine. I love that it also matches the marble tray on our coffee table.

Open Kitchen by Williams Sonoma Mugs: We’re big beverage people, what can I say. Coffee and tea are always flowing at our house, so we can never have too many mugs. These are the perfect size, they’re light, and are so pretty and minimal. Although we don’t have the space to do so, they’d look so great with displayed on a shelf (along with the rest of the Open Kitchen collection, which we also have and love).

Pillows: I’ve always been a firm pillow person and Zach likes one that your head melts into. Somehow, the second we tried these pillows we were both instantly obsessed. So much so, that we wound up registering for 6 more!

Cookbooks: Learning how to cook for two is a challenge–but a fun one. Even though I had my go-to recipes to cook for myself, I was excited to have a few new cookbooks to recipe test so we could find dishes to add to our regular repertoire together. I’ve found several that we both love from SkinnyTaste One and Done and Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings so far.
