There are so many great jackets and coats to choose from this year. Until recently, I’ve worn the same J.Crew coat for years because it’s classic and goes with everything. The past few years, I’ve been slowly collecting coats that I can wear for different occasions, I don’t know why I resisted it for so long! If you can become an “outerwear person”, I’ve certainly turned into one.
This jacket from Madewell was one that I snagged on sale before it quickly sold out last year and it’s been a favorite layering piece ever since. I found two almost exact options, this one from Madewell (sans buttons) and this incredible dupe from Old Navy.
For those times that I’m headed to the gym or wearing something a little more casual, I picked up this puffer jacket, and could not be happier with it’s cozy inside and perfect fit. I’m also on the hunt for the ideal camel wool coat. I’ve found so many good ones, but have yet to pull the trigger. I’m leaning towards this one by 7 For All Mankind.

SHOP SWEATER COATS
I’d definitely consider the sweater coat to be lighter in weight, but they look great a little oversized so you can layer them with your favorite sweaters.

The classic wool coat will never go out of style, but I’m especially loving the longer ones that give a nod to the 90’s.

Great with your athleasure for the gym or a trip to the grocery store, the puffer will keep you extra warm for those cooler months of the year.

Teddy coats are oversized and adorable. I love pairing mine with a pair of skinny jeans and edgy pointed-toe boots.
