Edie’s nursery tour

January 10, 2023

Neutral baby nursery room tourWe never officially finished the nursery for Gemma, so when she moved to her new big girl room and Edie moved to the nursery the design wheels in my head started turning.

All of the big pieces of furniture stayed as is–the crib, dresser, and glider. I also kept the vintage floral rug which I find so darling and perfect for a nursery. It became the jumping off point for all of my other decor choices.

Love vs. Design reached out to collaborate on adding wallpaper to a space our home a few months ago and the timing aligned perfectly with the nursery refresh. I ordered a handful of customized samples (you choose the exact colors you want) to decide which looked best in the room. I chose a subtle, neutral color way in a feminine, floral paper and couldn’t be happier with how sweet it looks in the room!

I pulled a light blue from the rug and carried it to the art, pillow and throw, and lamp shade.
