It’s Friday, day one of Go Blog Social, and the day I get to share with you my new little website. For those of you who knew me when I blogged here, you know that it’s been almost a year since I’ve posted.
I always knew I’d be back at it, I missed the blogging community while I was gone. I also knew I wanted to merge my blog and business together the next time around and so began rachaeladele.com…like, 8 months ago. And before you write me off as the most inefficient web designer of all time, let me give you my excuse first. It’s one you’ve heard from countless creatives, I’m sure, but designing for yourself really is the hardest task. The look of this site has changed a total of 212 times (exaggeration makes me feel better). In the back of my head, though, I knew I just needed put it out into the universe whether or not it was my version of done.
You will also notice that I no longer use the lowercase alphabet exclusively, because adulthood and stuff. This is a habit I am still trying to kick, so if you find the occasional lowercase I, avert your judging eyes.
I’m going to leave you with a few images from a fun shoot I did with the sweet and talented Sarah of One Sparrow Creative. We’ve been long-time instagram friends and we finally met for a coffee last week to chat and shoot this week’s post for her style file series. How good does it feel to meet your online friends offline? It really is the best, I think.
