From the Weekend

This weekend felt extra long in the best way. There hasn’t been a weekend that I haven’t had something planned in quite a while. We made sure to spend as much time as possible outside, it was incredible out both days. Saturday was spent on the patio of my favorite little coffee spot in Kansas City, followed by a trip to the West Bottoms to peruse the antique shops for vintage home goods. The stores down there are real gems, only open the first week of each month so we try to make a real event of it. I came home empty handed this time, but have a plan in place for next month so that doesn’t happen again.

The Brookside Art Festival was this weekend, so we made a pit stop there on Sunday. Art fairs are my jam. I did some spring cleaning and planted the loot I got at the nursery. I picked up these planters at Crate and Barrel and they are my absolute favorite things I own right now. I may go back and get 12 more. I love filling my home with life this time of year. Hoping I’ve finally got the hang of this plant mom thing so that they all stay healthy and happy. What are you favorite plants to keep around the house? I brought some lavender home with me and I’m so anxious for it to bloom. I can’t think of a scent I love more.
