Going through pregnancy during quarantine has not been without a handful of emotions. I’ve always felt I had a good handle on my style, but navigating maternity wear is a whole different ball game. One small silver lining about staying home is not feeling the need to buy maternity-specific clothing. I’ve mostly relied on my trusty Lululemon align leggings (they grow with you!) and oversized tees.
My ever-changing body during this third trimester has had me reaching for easy dresses that I can throw on and feel both comfortable and put together around the house. I’m thankful that midi/maxi dresses with smocked detailing and higher waistlines are all the rage right now, because it’s been so easy to find non-maternity styles that I’ll be able to wear beyond pregnancy.
I bought this linen dress few months back and have been wearing it a lot. It’s not see through one bit and the button details will make it perfect for my nursing days. This one from H&M and this Sleeper number have also been in heavy rotation as of late. I may have to rethink my love for white when baby arrives, but for now these easy white dresses are making this mama feel put together when it’s easy to feel anything but!
