Season of Cozy: The Loungewear Edit

Not until recently did I discover the luxury of a matching loungewear set. I much prefer to be in comfy clothes when I’m at home and have collected quite a few pieces that I rotate through regularly. I’m subscribed to the thought that if you’re going to wear something cozy, it may as well also be beautiful.

As we enter the thick of winter, I’m fully embracing all things lounge-y. I have a new-found love for a plush pair of slippers and a long-sleeve robe that feels like butter. Zach gifted me this one by Skin for Christmas and I live in it now. I’ve talked about Skin before in my favorite things of 2019 post, but I cannot say enough good things about this brand. Every single piece I own from them is perfection.

I wanted a few items for pregnancy and post-pregnancy that would be comfortable and make me feel good around the house, so I went up to a size medium in both the robe and the Eberjey set. It’s a little roomy now, but will still be comfy as I grow these next few months. 🙂 I’m typically a size small in loungewear and pajamas, as they’re often a bit oversized anyway. Both the set and robe are insanely soft. I can’t wait to slip the later on every morning when I get out of bed to make coffee.

I’ll always be a fan of versatile basics like an oversized tee and joggers that can be worn to sleep, around the house, and styled for an outing. Monrow makes some of my favorite tees. Other favorite brands of note: Skin, Eberjey, Lou & Gray, Maison du Soir, LETT, and The White Company.
