Neutral Books for Your Coffee Table

It’s no secret that I gravitate towards neutrals when it comes to my home (and wardrobe). I tend to keep things simple and intentional when it comes to home decor. My living room is pretty minimal, but I try to create some interest by layering textures, styling simple vignettes on shelves, and arranging a few books, trinkets and the occasional vase of fresh greenery on my coffee table.

I have a mix of interior focused, photography, and fashion books, all with covers of the neutral/black and white variety. My tv console provides a lot of shelving, so I keep most of my books there and swap them out with my coffee table when I’m feeling the need for change (which is often).

If you’re looking to start your collection, I’d suggest stacking 2-3 oversized books together for a polished, minimalist look. And second to a beautiful book, my other favorite coffee table item is a fantastic smelling candle (or five). A few of my favorites are from Jo Malone London, Tom Dixon, Byredo, and Capri Blue.
