My Favorite Things of 2019

1. ILIA Beauty Limitless Lash Mascara | I’ve spent the last few years testing clean mascaras. For most of my adult life, I’ve used Covergirl Lash Blast and nothing clean seemed to hold candle to my tried and true. I’m not sure why it took me so long to try ILIA’s mascara, but I’m so smitten and will 100% never look back. It lengthens, volumizes, doesn’t clump, and washes off easily at the end of the day–the best clean mascara out there!

2. Skin crop pants | These are little pricey for loungewear, but so worth the splurge. I can’t wait to put them on every day as soon as I walk in from work. Everything from Skin is made from natural materials, feels luxurious and soft, and is so flattering.

3. DeMillier Mini Rome bag | I love beautiful bag and usually invest in one each year that I wear on repeat. In the past, I’ve carried soft leather bags like my A.P.C. which I love, but this croc embossed leather doesn’t show wear like soft leather. I’ve had it for 6+ months and it still looks brand new. An added perk that I didn’t think I’d use as much as I do is the gold handle in addition to the crossbody strap–a two-in-one!

4. Bala Weighted Wrist Bangles | I started working out with Melissa Wood Health this year and it has been so enlightening and refreshing to wake up and do a workout that I love. I really look forward to the flows. These bangles are so chic (for workout gear ha!). I use them for light arm exercises and sometimes when I’m walking on the treadmill.

5. True Botanicals Resurfacing Moisture Mask | My love for all things True Botanicals runs deep, but I recently started using their resurfacing mask and was once again blown away by how it made my face feel the next morning. I’ve been using it once or twice a week and it’s helped combat the dry winter air and bring the moisture back into my skin.

6. AD 100 Book | This book was published in October to celebrate Architectural Digest’s 100th anniversary and it does not disappoint. Not only is it full of inspiration from interior greats and iconic photographers, but it’s equally as beautiful on the outside and looks perfect on a coffee table. Would be a good gift for any interior-loving friend or family member this holiday season.

7. Headspace App | This time last year I started using headspace for my morning meditations. And while I enjoy that aspect of the app, the sleepcasts have recently been a game changer for me. When I need to quiet my mind before bed, I’ll turn on one of the many sleepcasts offered and it feels like in minutes I’m in a deep sleep. The sleepcasts are short stories narrated over calming, ambient noise. If you have a hard time falling asleep at night (or even if you don’t!), I highly recommend getting the app for this feature.

8. ILIA True Skin Serum Foundation | I’m minimalist when it comes to my makeup routine. This foundation is my new go-to. What I look for in foundation is a combo of subtle coverage–moisturizing, buildable, and not at all cakey. This one delivers on all fronts and it’s clean! Cannot say enough good things about ILIA’s entire collection of products.

9. Loeffler Randall Juno kitten heels | Heels are not my go-to shoe of choice. I’ve been on the hunt for pair that’s both chic and comfortable, and I’m not sure why I hadn’t tried these kitten heels sooner. I love that they’re closed-toed so that I can wear them throughout the winter. They’re a really classic pair that I know I’ll be wearing for years.
