The holidays are more exciting than ever this year with a little one to celebrate with. Seeing everything fresh, through her eyes, makes the ordinary magical! While she’s not old enough to understand the concept of Christmas yet, she’s at an age now that she enjoys certain activities and has favorite toys. I put together a list of items I either have or plan to get Gemma, who will be 6 months this Christmas. But most of them are perfect for littles several years older, too.
We’ve used the Hatch sound machine since day one. The sound, color and brightness can all be controlled by your phone. I preferred a dim glow while nursing Gemma at night and kind of miss the calming waves now that we’ve moved it to Gemma’s nursery with her. We’ll be using it for years to come!
One of my most favorite things to buy for Gemma is new books. I love the idea of having seasonal collections to swap out and read together. With Christmas right around the corner, holiday related books like this one are making their way into our nightly rotation.
This bunny is soft and beautiful and the perfect size for our girl.
This play gym provides endless entertainment for Gemma. The natural materials and soft colors make me okay with it living in our family room too.
Bibs pacifiers come in beautiful colors and they’re the only brand Gemma took to. Somehow, they’re always getting lost, so it’s best to use a few as stocking stuffers!
How sweet is this lamb rocker? I think a rocker is a must in every nursery.
A chic teether for the teething baby. We have one ready for when the time comes.
These Christmas pajamas are darling, and a festive item to have on hand for morning-of photos under the tree.
A friend gifted Gemma these wooden blocks and I can’t wait for her to get old enough to play with them. For now, they’re displayed beautifully in her nursery.
We never officially finished the nursery for Gemma, so when she moved to her new…
