Fall at Home

Do you swap out your decor when the seasons change? I like to keep things pretty minimal and classic around here, but it does help to set the tone for those cozier nights to add in richer textures and deeper hues every fall.

When the days get shorter and the weather gets colder I turn into more of a homebody than I already am. I refuse to believe that I’m the only one that would rather binge-watch The Good Wife in my sweats than go out on a 20 degree Friday night. It hasn’t gotten that bad yet, but I did do some serious purging of all the things last weekend to get ready for a less-cluttered winter abode and let me tell you, it felt GOOD. Thinking about picking up this book that everyone on Earth seems to have read and has deemed life-changing. Have you read it yet?

It makes me feel better getting rid of things I’ve been holding onto when I bring home a few new goods for the home. I don’t spend a ton of money and time finding seasonal pieces, but a wool throw, a few scented (pumpkin!) candles, or some seasonal serving pieces can make all the difference.

Botanical print | Apothecary bottle | Wedge server | Feather place card holders | Wool throws | Throw pillow | Two tone marble serving board | Boxwood wreath | Candle
