A Date Night Look

It can be a struggle for me to want to put on real pants, brave the cold weather, and go out on a Friday or Saturday night this time of year. I’m a homebody to my core and nothing usually sounds better than wine and a movie after a long week. But when I’ve spent a few too many nights in my sweats, it can be quite necessary to put something nice on and go out for a few drinks. It certainly helps to have a few new items I’m itching to wear to help me out the door.

A few of my favorite winter date spots in Kansas City:

Westport Cafe for dinner | Share the mussels and a plate of the pommes frites – yum!

Julep for drinks | Snag a cozy spot in a booth and try the Irish coffee

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art | A KC gem, just named the No. 1 museum in the nation by USA Today

These leather leggings have been on heavy rotation. Ask anyone that’s seen me in the past month, they will confirm this to be true. You can dress them up or pair with sneaks and a sweatshirt, too. I plan on doing a little of both this weekend. Have a good one, you guys!

Shop the post:

Faux leather leggings
Zara heels from last year (simliar)
