I know it’s a little early to be talking Christmas, but I wanted to get a head start on updating my holiday decor this year, especially with the rumors of supply chain complications. I created this Pinterest board for collecting inspiration and it has me so excited for the season.
I’ve been leaning into more traditional design lately in general and my Christmas inspiration this year is no exception. And now adding becoming a mom to the mix, I’m just craving a very traditional palette this holiday season. I’m thinking a variation of greens, ribbon, tinsel, dried oranges, tapered candles, and whimsical touches like paper snowflakes. My mom always made the holidays feel so magical and I want to create the same fond memories for my kids.
My decor has been pretty minimal in the past. The core pieces will stay, like our tree and some the ornaments. But I look forward to adding new and changing the vibe a little each year. This season I’m most excited about this satin ribbon, purchasing some vintage ornaments, and forcing paper whites—such a classic look.
The holiday shop is full of decor I’m currently loving. I’ll continue to update as I find new pieces.
