How was your long holiday weekend? We’re getting our first snow here in Kansas City today and it’s both bringing me a lot of joy and making me regret that trip to the grocery store yesterday I passed on. The icy streets mean that I’m snowed in, working indian-style on my couch with cozy socks and a coffee in hand, so I’m not complaining.
New Year’s Eve is just a few short days away and I’m hoping the snow lets up long enough for the chance to get dressed up and make it to a friend’s house for the night. My favorite way to spend New Year’s Eve is an intimate setting of close friends, good music, and bubbly. I think I’ve seen the last of my crowded bar, crazy cover charge, attempting to walk in a blizzard with a dress and heels days, sadly (or not so sadly) enough.
My ideal attire for the holiday is something comfortable, but still has a hint of glam. These sequin pants are what NYE dreams are made of, amiright? Paired with a soft sweater and mini bottles of champs, you’ve got yourself a winning combo to ring in the new year IMO.
