Admittedly, I’ve been throwing on athletic wear lately because I’ve grown bored of my winter sweaters and jeans. Last week, I decided it necessary to get out of my winter funk by purchasing a few new items that would get me back into the habit of dressing like a put-together human. I’ve listed off several items that have been renewing my love for getting dressed each morning.
My favorite in-between seasons pieces are light blouses that can be paired with pants or shorts for those warmer days. They can be layered with a cardigan or jacket, a pair of slides or boots. There are so many beautiful, feminine pieces out there right now! I found this blouse last week, have already work it twice and received several compliments on it.
Spring weather in Kansas City is especially fickle: warm and sunny one day, snowing the next. It helps to have a few lighter options that you can throw on when the days/night are a bit cooler. Some of my favorites spring styles are bomber jackets, biker jackets, and the classic trench.
I like to rotate my denim the same as the rest of my closet. I live in dark washes during the colder months, so lighters washes and cropped jeans are such a welcomed change of pace.
You can shop my look below. Hope you’re having a good week! xx
