With cooler weather comes warm, comforting food — and some of my favorite recipes to make. When we were coming back from our honeymoon in Greece, I knew it’d be a lot colder at home than when we’d left it and told Zach that I couldn’t wait to make chili the next Sunday.
These recipes feel like comfort food, but are definitely healthy enough to be guilt-free, too. I love soups and slow cooker meals that you can prepare and leave for a while, and have leftovers that are even better the next day.
I crave this Massaged Kale & Roasted Sweet Potato Quinoa Salad from Savor Home. The list of ingredients are perfect together. I love making this for lunches throughout the week because it’s healthy and hearty. Sometimes I add chicken to it if I have it on hand.
I’ve been making this Turkey and Sweet Potato Chili from Goop for a few years now, and it is one of my favorite chili recipes I’ve found. It’s super easy and is a crowd pleaser.
I’m obsessed with these Slow Cooker Bahn Mi Bowls via SkinnyTaste. The flavors are insane and it’s such a simple recipe.
Having a few good soup recipes in your back pocket is helpful for get togethers or easy family weeknight meals. I’ve only made this Crockpot Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup via Half Baked Harvest once, but it’s one that I will be adding to my list of repeat recipes.
